Nenumaratele studii au demonstrat-o: dieta cretana este capabila sa reduca substantial riscurile de mortalitate. Aceasta dieta limiteaza in mod considerabil recidivele dupa o prima problema cardiaca. Dieta cretana reduce riscul aparitiei diabetului de tip 2.<\/p>\n<p><b>Consuma mai putina carne rosie<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In mod traditional in Creta consumul de carne rosie este rezervat evenimentelor festive. Azi, produsele animaliere reprezinta doar 20% din regimul alimentar fata de 40% cat reprezinta produsele animaliere in lumea anglo-saxona. Locuitorii Cretei consuma carne rosie doar de cateva ori pe luna, carne de pui si oua de cateva ori pe saptamana. Pestele reprezinta ingredientul vedeta din cadrul dietei cretane.<\/p>\n<p><b>Variaza modul de gatire<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Bine inteles, cel mai bine ar fi sa nu consumi foarte des fripturi. Gateste la temperaturi scazute pentru a pastra calitatea nutritiva a alimentelor. Nu uita ca in cadrul dietei cretane cuvantul de ordine este diversitatea.<\/p>\n<p><b>Abuzeaza de salatele asortate<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Fructele si legumele sunt predominante in cadrul dietei cretane. Nu cred ca mai este cazul sa iti amintim nenumaratele beneficii ale acestora asupra bolilor cronice. Iata un fapt mai putin cunoscut: salatele asortate par sa aduca o multime de beneficii in ceea ce priveste sanatatea. Combinatiile moleculare obtinute in urma amestecarii legumelor, a usturoiului, a cepei si a uleiului de masline sunt excelente.<\/p>\n<p><b>Gateste cu ulei de masline<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Uleiul de masline este, fara indoiala, unul din marile secretele ale dietei cretane. Acizii grasi mononesaturati continuti de uleiul de masline contribuie la scaderea nivelului de colesterol rau in timp ce Vitamina E si plofenolii joaca un rol antioxidant asupra peretilor ateriali. Pentru a beneficia din plin de \u00a0polifenolii continuti de uleiul de masline, consuma 2-3 linguri pe zi.
