Aceasta dieta alimentara a fost popularizata in Occident in cea de-a doua jumatate a secolului XX de catre Georges Oshawa si Michio Kushi. Dieta macrobiotica reprezinta de fapt aplicarea principiului zen al lui Oshawa in domeniul nutritiei. Filozofia macrobiotica consta in reluara principiului unic al universului. Cu alte cuvinte, sa refacem echilibrul constant dintre yin si yang. Alimentele vedeta din cadrul dietei macrobiotice sunt cerealele, acestea reprezentand echilibrul perfect.<\/p>\n<p>In cadrul medicinii occidentale, alimentele sunt clasate in patru mari grupe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carnea si celelalte alimente proteice;<\/li>\n<li>Laptele si produsele lactate;<\/li>\n<li>Fructele si legumele;<\/li>\n<li>Cerealele si hidratii de carbon;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Alimente Yin si alimente Yang<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In cadrul dietei macrobiotice, se tine cont de doua mari grupe de alimente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alimente cu tendinta yin \u2013 feminine;<\/li>\n<li>Alimente cu tendinta yang \u2013 masculine;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aceste doua forte sunt antagoniste si complementare, guverneaza viata, conform filozofiei orientale. Alimentele sunt clasate in cele doua categorii tinandu-se cont de textura, aroma, culoare si caracteristici sezoniere. Yin sunt urmatoarele alimente: fructele, bauturile si alimentele de culoare verde, albastru sau purpuriu cu gust dulce, acidulat sau picant. Yang sunt urmatoarele alimente: carnea si celelalte produse de origine animala, cerealele si legumele de culoara galbena, portocalie sau rosie precum morcovii sau ridichile.<\/p>\n<p>Prima regula si cea mai importanta a dietei macrobiotice este urmatoarea: consuma cat mai multe cereale integrale! Acestea trebuie sa alcatuiasca 50-60% din fiecare masa. In categoria cerealelor integrale intra secara, orezul brun, ovazul, porumbul, meiul. Oaczional, se pot introduce in meniu produsele din faina alba precum spaghetti, fidea, paine sau taietei.<\/p>\n<p>Se va consuma zilnic cel putin un bol de supa. In meniul de zi cu zi, vegetalele vor alcatui un procentaj de 25-30%. Ideal ar fi sa consumi cel putin o treime legume crude. Pentru consumul zilnic sunt recomandate urmatoarele legume: conopida, varza, broccoli, dovlecelul, napul, ridichile, castravetii, telina si ceapa. Leguminoasele trebuie sa intruneasca 10% din alimentatie.=<\/p>\n<p>In ceea ce priveste ingredientele de origine animala iti recomandam sa consumi peste si fructe de mare. Trebuie sa eviti consumul de carne de porc, de vita, lactatele si ouale. Fructele vor fi consumate proaspete, cele exotice vor fi evitate.<\/p>\n<p>Deoarece este bazata pe consumul de alimente sarace in grasimi saturate, dieta macrobiotica contribuie la prevenirea bolilor cardiovasculare, a accidentului vascular cerebral si a infarctului miocardic.
