Pritkin a creat aceasta dieta abia la varsta de 41 de ani cand, nivelul sau de colesterol era extrem de ridicat. Dorind sa scada nivelul de colesterol, acesta a urmat un regim menit sa-l faca sa scada in greutate rapid si de durata.<\/p>\n<p>Decide sa creeze el insusi o dieta bazata pe ceea ce numeste \u02b9fat instinct\u02b9, un mecanism care ne incita sa consumam alimente grase pentru a-i permite organismului nostru sa stocheze lipide, ca mod de prevenire al foamei. Dieta Pritkin este o <strong>dieta hipolitica<\/strong> (aport caloric de materii grase limitat, intre 5-10% maxim), <strong>hipocaloric<\/strong> si aproape vegetarian.<\/p>\n<p>Alimentele autorizate sunt toate fructele, toate legumele, <a title=\"cereale integrale\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pirifan.ro\/produse-pirifan\/cereale-pisate-si-musli\/\">cerealele integrale<\/a>, leguminoasele, produsele lactate cu 0% grasime, albusul de ou fiert, pestele, carnea de pasare o data pe saptamana, carnea slaba o data pe luna. O singura cafea pe zi este permisa sau singura cana cu ceai.<\/p>\n<p>Alimentele interzise sunt uleiul, untul, margarina, ciocolata (bogata in unt de cacao), produsele lactate (altele decat cele 0% grasime), mezelurile, carnea grasa, fripturile, fructele oleaginoase (nucile), galbenusul de ou, sosurile, produsele de patiserie.<\/p>\n<p>Pe post de gustare dar doar daca este obligatoriu, singurele alimente permise sunt morcovii cruzi sau telina cruda.<\/p>\n<p>Pentru ca pierderea in greutate sa fie cat mai eficienta, Pritkin a intocmit o lista cu alimentele permise, incluzand si cantitatile in care acestea pot fi consumate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bd cana de cereale integrale (ovaz, orez brun, grau, de cinci ori pe zi, cate o portie);<\/li>\n<li>2-3 portii de fructe pe zi, din care una poate fi un suc preparat in mod natural;<\/li>\n<li>bauturile ce contin cafeina nu se pot consuma mai mult de o data pe zi. Ca bauturi sunt recomandate apa plata, ceaiurile fara cofeina sau sucurile din legume;<\/li>\n<li>cate doua portii pe zi din alimentele bogate in calciu precum iaurtul degresat sau laptele;<\/li>\n<li>o cana cu legume crude (mazare, fasole, brocoli) sau \u00bd cana cu legume fierte pe zi;<\/li>\n<li>3 portii pe saptamana de crustacee sau peste;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dieta Pritkin este recomandata persoanelor obeze care, din cauza kilogramelor in plus, se confrunta cu o multime de probleme de sanatate. In plus fata de pierderea in greutate, dieta Pritkin scade nivelul de colesterol rau, scade tensiunea arteriala, regleaza nivelul de insulina.
